When darkness comes

A novel inspired by true events that took place in the early 1940s; a theater artist encounters a mysterious figure, turning her life upside down and revealing what no one else has seen. Simultaneously, a series of horrific murders of women and girls spread terror throughout the streets, and the police were unable to apprehend the perpetrator. Thirty-eight years later, a police officer begins his pursuit of a deranged serial killer terrorizing Cairo by murdering girls in the same manner as before, as if history were repeating itself.
